WHAT IS FOOT DROP
Foot drop may be a short-term issue for some or develop into a lasting condition without prompt care. It refers to difficulty lifting the front part of the foot. If you suffer from foot drop, your foot may drag on the floor when you walk. This condition often signals a neurological, muscular, or structural problem. To compensate, individuals may scrape their toes or raise their knees higher than usual to avoid tripping. Foot drop is a common and distressing issue that increases the risk of falling and injury.

FUNCTIONAL IMPROVEMENT
During neuropathy treatment, we’ve seen about 6% of patients with foot drop caused by peroneal motor nerve dysfunction respond positively to our care. Although chronic foot drop is hard to reverse, many have experienced meaningful improvement and regained better mobility.
